Ironstone jug with offset decoration against black slip. Patterns created by dipping a cookie-cutter-like tool into slip and stamping or pressing it onto the body of the vessel. c. 1840s or later,  7 inches in height - from a private collection.

Pearlware jug with overlapping offset circles on black slip. Blue banding along rim and green glazed rouletted band. This jug shape is known as "ship" or "churn", c. 1830,  4.5 inches in height - from a private collection.
