Description:

Wine bottle seal molded with name B Ogle.

There were two Benjamin Ogles; the elder Ogle lived in the house at Belair between 1774 and 1809.  He was the Governor of Maryland in 1798. 

His son, Benjamin Ogle II, owned the property from 1809 to 1844.
