McNulty (2004) refers to conjoined initials as “ligatured”. Seal probably belonged to Notley Rozier (Rosier), planter at Upper Notley Hall Plantation (aka Admirathoria). Died 1727. Seal found at nearby plantation of Thomas Addison, who inherited property in 1705. |
