Description: Lead whizzer

History: Lead whizzer are a toy that has been around for a very long time. Two strings were run through the holes and then spun until tight. Then the user would pull on the tightly wound string causing the metal disk to spin, creating a whizzing noise. The size and angle of the serrations affected the sound of the whirring (Forsyth 2005:387).
