Brief Description: Mid-19th- to early 20th-century house site

Site Notes: Phase I & II testing was performed in 2005. Phase I involved excavation of 35 shovel test units during which 2 cultural features were identified & 115 historic artifacts collected. Phase II testing expanded upon the Phase I grid. A total of 193 shovel test pits and 8 3x3 foot test units were excavated. Cultural features including architectural debris, a cellar, well and small outbuilding were identified and likely relate to a mid 19th- to 20th-century farmstead. A total of 3,945 artifacts were recovered during Phase II work including 9 prehistoric, 3,754 historic, and 182 modern artifacts.
