Site Notes: Multiple collectors scavenged this site from at least 1911. Several professional investigations of the site have been carried out by ASM and Pennsylvania and Maryland Geological Survey. No formal full reports of investigation seem to have been published. Large scale excavations by MGS and ASM took place in 1981-1982. Again, no formal report has been produced. Information here has been taken from short reports/articles and field records.
