Feature Notes: Stone lined privy, 4' x 6', 54" deep. Probably dates from mid-18th century with house, however, may have been cleaned out more than once. Few 18th century artifacts. Apparantly the only feature fully excavated.

Site Notes: The Schiefferstadt house is a standing stone structure dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th-century additions. The site was investigated by Phase I in 1975, and by two field schools in the late 1980s. The report of more extensive investigations in 1995 was most useful for feature information. 1995 excavations yielded 16, 907 historic and 552 prehistoric artifacts.
