Large burial pit with pockets of ashy soil containing cremated bone, red ochre, flakes, sherds and copper beads. Feature 1 also contained Burials 2 and 3. Burial 2 was an in-flesh burial of a juvenile. Burial 3 was a pocket of cremated bones. Sub-features 1a & 1b were given to two pieces of bone found just south of Burial 3. Subfeature 1c was given to grave goods associated with Burial 2. Artifact count unknown. (Please contact MacLab with questions about this collection.) |

No formal site report, only two short summaries. Original records may reflect feature numbering errors. Four more features (25-28) subsequently identified are not described in this database. Features 3, 5, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 15 are a cluster of possible tree stains, and are not entered in this database. A hammerstone was found in feature 5's fill, and 51 total artifacts are attributed to these features. Soil samples were collected from site. Copper beads were analyzed. |
