Brief Description: |
Standing 18th c. house that was birthplace of Gov. Thomas Johnson |
Site Type: |
Historic |
Site Notes: |
The assemblage discussed here is a large dump of domestic garbage (ceramics and bottles, largely) dating to late 19th to early 20th c. and thrown under standing house, probably during property owner change. Recovered by current owners during renovation and donated to MAC Lab. John Broome Mackall (b. 1834) died in 1913. It might be connected with his death. |
