Site Notes: Ph. I excavations in 1995 were performed in the area of the former civil war hospital and extant lighthouse. 385 STPs were excavated. Sixteen 5X5m test units were placed in artifact concentration areas or where subsurface features had been encountered. Features identified include builder's trenches, postholes/molds, ditch-like feature, and intact architectural features. Few features were excavated. 2018: Phase II and III in advance of renovations to lighthouse
