Site Notes: Part of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park. Work at site includes 1979 survey, 1983 Phase I, 1991 Phase II, 1992 Phase I/II. No subsurface cultural features were identified. 5719 artifacts were collected from the site in 1983, 1991 and 1992. Since no subsurface features were excavated, artifact counts for house, wall, stone circle, and sheet midden are not specified. A small prehistoric component exists although it was determined that most prehistoric artifact recovered probably washed down slope. 93 prehistoric artifacts were collected in 1983, 1991, 1992.
