A small number of vessels on the painted wares page are from Delaware and we would like to acknowledge the Delaware Office of Historic Preservation for allowing us to include these vessels.

The development of the post-colonial ceramics pages was generously funded by the Maryland Historical Trust, which paid for a fellowship for ceramics scholar George L. Miller to create a chronology for painted wares and to provide overall support for the project. Essays were written by Patricia Samford and George L. Miller.
