Description:
Bone toothbrush with turned handle in the Stick type. Flat cranking with probable wire drawn bristle attachment. Stick shaped handle with rounded cross section. The artifact style used here is based on Barbara Mattick's A Guide to Bone Toothbrushes of the 19th and Early 20th Centuries (2010 Xlibris Corporation). Mattick divided bone handled toothbrushes into 21 types and 7 varieties based on physical characteristics.
