Kraus (18CA23)
Site History
The Kraus site (18CA23) is a precontact period lithic scatter site located on the Choptank River south of Denton in Caroline County, Maryland.
Archaeological Investigations
Two fluted Clovis points and four to six other points were found by avocational collectors and the property owner when a house was built on the site. According to Medusa, 95% of Stewart Wright's collection is from this site.
