Long (18CA26)

Site History

The Long site (18CA26) marks the location of the discovery of a projectile point dating to the Paleoindian period. This site is located near Watts Creek east of Denton in Caroline County, Maryland.

Archaeological Investigations

This point was found by Joe Reinhardt during surface hunting in an agricultural field.
