Horn Farm (18DO69)

Site History

The Horn Farm site (18DO69) is a Paleoindian (& possible Early Archaic) short-term resource procurement camp on St. John’s Creek in Dorchester County, Maryland.

Archaeological Investigations

There have been no known archaeological investigations at this site. The evidence for this site consists of two Middle Paleo points and one Dalton-Hardaway point found in this location by two avocational collectors. The collectors also reported areas of shell and bone where the points were collected. These three points were photographed by Lois E. Brown and appear in her 1979 report entitled "Fluted Projectile Points in Maryland."
