FeatureFeature Notes
18MO1 Burials (Yinger 1937)Seventy-three burials in 44 pits excavated by Yinger. These burials were concentrated in 4 clusters throughout the site. There were a mix of primary single, primary multiple, mixed primary/secondary and one secondary burial of cremated remains. Three of the burials were found to be of historic/European origin. And are considered anomalous, as no other historic components or artifacts were identified on the site. A range of individuals is represented in the burials, from infants to seniors, with 23 identified as female, 36 as male, and 14 indeterminate. (Curated at Smithsonian.)
